About Us

• I'm a Bristol artist who specialises in drawing into card & paper with a sewing machine (known as freehand machine embroidery). I use buttons, handmade papers, fabric & accessories to create original artwork. I am currently working in 2 distinct styles; a naive & quirky one and a more delicate, floral vintage style.
  
• For my larger pictures - A lot of my inspiration comes from the natural environment - landscapes and gardens. Recently I have been making a range of bird pieces using wallpapers and fabrics to try to capture the delicate beauty of these delightful creatures.
  
• For my cards & smaller framed pictures - all designs are limited as I change fabrics regularly. Each one is original as they are stitched free-hand. I have my frames made in Bristol & use recycled card & bio-degradable packaging.
• Personalised orders - I make framed, personalised pictures in 3 sizes, and make multiples of personalised cards to order (for events such as weddings or christenings).
  
• I accept picture commissions. Recent ones have included placing family groups in familiar, loved settings such as local parks; and creating a special, personal gift for a loved one.
